In our more than 20 years of combined experience, designing surveys and interviewing farmers / rural business / organisations requires a specific expertise to generate positive responses that more generic approaches do not necessarily achieve.
Our specialised team has extensive rural experience and the ability to design and undertake surveys that will meet your needs – production, natural resource management and/or social issues.
Dr Jeff Coutts
Dr Jeff Coutts, Director of Coutts J&R, has extensive experience in evaluation generally and survey design in particular. He designed and runs the Masters course “Evaluation of Project and Programs” in UQ, co-delivers a short course on survey design and evaluation with associate and biometrician Kerry Bell and has designed and overseen a large number of surveys in rural Australia.
Amy Samson
Amy Samson (MA Professional Communication) is a communication specialist with a background in Public Relations and has extensive experience in survey design and evaluation management. Amy is the key client liaison person and will work with you at all times to ensure your needs are met. Many satisfied clients attest to Amy’s excellent survey management skills.
Kerry Bell
Kerry Bell from Bellmetrics has been involved in evaluation and analysis of surveys for the last 7 years, and has had 15 years experience in statistical analysis. Kerry provides expert input into sampling and questionnaire design to ensure that needed statistical analysis is not compromised. Kerry also co-developed and runs the short course on survey design and analysis.
Liesel Rennie
Liesel Rennie and her team from Clique Research has extensive experience and an excellent track record in undertaking telephone surveys of rural people. Their gentle persistence and phone manner results in excellent feedback from people involved.
Annette Ireland
Annette Ireland is an independent consultant from Townsville specialising in qualitative analysis. As an ex-teacher, Annette has unique skills in pulling together respondents comments, analysing themes and distilling key messages to support quantitative results.
